What I Learned This Week: Launching New Products Is Hard but Absolutely Worth It!

What I Learned This Week-

What a week it’s been!

I started off ready for my next frontier. Goal in mind, and drive in heart, I hit it hard to try and figure out the best way to launch my newest offering, Coaching Services. I can’t believe how much I underestimated every part of the process.

But it’s done. And I’m glad.

While I’m excited about the potential for growing my business by further diversifying it, I’m most excited about the thought of actually helping others. I remember how hard it was for me and how much work it took for me just to launch this site! I did it, though. And honestly, I don’t regret a minute of it!

My Challenges

Where should I start?

I run an already diverse business offering multiple services. One of those is virtual assisting to three clients. Granted, the schedule varies, but sometimes it can get tedious.

One of my clients is revamping one of her products, and I was lucky enough to help with that. It’s been neat to see all that goes into developing that sort of idea. I’ve learned a lot, but it hasn’t come without some sweat.

And then, there’s my second book…

I’m working on my second eBook. It’s coming along nicely but taking much longer than I anticipated. I hope to put in some serious time this week to get it done. The words are there, swimming around together in my head. It’s just a matter of sitting at my computer for a few hours and cranking them out. Sounds easier than it is.

My Focus for Next Week

I want to start marketing my coaching services to potential clients. I’m thrilled at the prospect of helping others succeed! I’ve learned a thing or two about this business. It’s time I share it with others who are coming along.

I’ll also start a regular blogging schedule. While I love blogging for my own business. I tend to put it off. Launching my new coaching services taught me that all that work is worthless if I don’t blog regularly and add fresh content to the site. Loving what I do for others isn’t enough.

Will I Launch Another Product Soon?

I can’t say when just yet, but I’m in the process of writing a course. I’m not sure yet how exactly I’ll do it, but the outline exists!

And I have other ideas, too.

I learned a lot about launching products from this experience. The whole experience from beginning to end brought me closer to my business. I appreciate what I’ve built so far much more than before. And while I can’t predict the future, I know I’m taking the right steps to move my business forward.

Final Thoughts

Building an online business takes time. I’m reminded of an old clichĂ©, “If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.”

It wasn’t easy to launch my coaching services. I didn’t expect there to be so much minutiae there under the surface. Still, I’ll take all I learned and apply it to my next venture.

I feel blessed to be doing this – following my dreams and picking up new ones along the way. It means that after doing this for awhile, I’m still hungry for more.

What’s new in your world? More importantly, how did your week shape up?
