Contrary to popular belief, I built this site as a platform for me and other writers to showcase helpful tips, tricks, and tidbits to help up and coming freelancers. And also to showcase my published work so that my friends and family would have a place to go and brag on rare occasion

If you wanna learn to cha-cha or tango like Gomez and Morticia, you’re in the wrong place, my friend. BUT, if you’re ready to get off your kiester and learn all about how to break into the freelance world of solopreneurship, welcome aboard!

Curious about the name? Thumb through my site and see if you can figure out why I chose this name for my business.

As for me, I’m Cruz Santana, a professional writer, editor, cancer-fighter battling stage 4 non-Hodgkins lymphoma, and a mother of seven (!) with a background in science and medicine.

How’d I get started, you ask?

Well, after learning all about writing for the Web from Gina Horkey’s course, 30 Days or Less to Freelance Writing Success in 2015, I decided to chase my dreams of unlimited income potential and self-sufficiency.

I took on the big, bad online world…and won!

Now, in addition to writing, editing, and chasing my toddler, (Did I mention the cancer-fighting part?) I offer virtual assistance services to three amazingly successful webpreneurs!

And I’ve just added coaching services to help others who are struggling down the path!

Could I’ve dreamed all this would happen when I blogged my way through Gina’s course in the My Sweet November blog series? Not in a million years!

Since beginning my sweet, sweet November, I’ve:

Trust me, you want THIS life! I did. And it only gets better and better!

Not sure where to begin?

Don’t worry. I didn’t either. But unlike me, you have me to help you through it. I needed a little hand-holding in the beginning. We all do.

Like Gina always says, “Why not you, why not now?”

It’s time to take charge of your future!

Whether you’re new to the freelance game, or you’ve been away for a while and feel motivated about giving it another go, I’m here. Reach out and let me know how you’re doing! You and I, we’re in this together!

Cheers!
